This is a Full Day of classes
TOMORROW IS REGULAR DAY.
Yearbook pages are due!! Please bring them and turn them in to Ara (remember she has another baby on the way very soon and needs to take care of things while she has a chance!)
4-H Meetings—There are two more 4-H meetings, next Thursday April 3, at which time you will register for the campaign to run for student officers for next year; the May meeting date has been changed to Thursday May 1, at which time campaign speeches will be given.
Remember, skating is available Friday afternoon.

Barry Setterfield of New Hope Observatory in Grant’s Pass will speak to LEAP in the sanctuary by Skype video phone on April 10, 2008 at 2:00 pm.
All are invited to bring their questions. Mr. Setterfeld, along with Trevor Norman, was the first scholar to publish evidence for a historical change in the speed of light. Although he is a very controversial figure in science, if not the target of outright scorn, other establishment theoreticians have been published on the variable speed of light. LEAP has the opportunity to speak to a true pioneer, but also a man who might be a standard fixture in textbooks of the future. A change in the speed of light impacts many commonly accepted measures by which the age of the earth and many materials are dated by scientists.
Mr. Setterfield has written extensively on physics and astronomy and has challenged many of the fundamental assumptions upon which the Big Bang model of creation is based.
This is an Alternate Day of classes make up date from the date that was canceled on February 22.
Please return the questionnaire regarding input on classes, schedule, teaching, etc. for next year. If you lost it, please just make some notes about what you would like to see offered and for what grade, full year or half, who might teach, what you’d love to teach; any helpful evaluation of program and classes. Also sign the form on the check-in table marking your intentions toward membership for next year. We begin planning the day LEAP ends!
Other reminders:
–Tuesday, March 25, is Alternate Day make-up.
–Thursday, March 27, is our Regular Day
–Skating next week is Thursday 11-1 and Friday 12-3. (Note: it is every Thursday and every other Friday that alternate with our Alternate day)
–Yearbook family pages are due
LEAP Board
Just a reminder that we will be roller skating tomorrow from 10 -1 due to the public schools being out.
Please pass along this information to anyone you know may be interested.
Thanks and God bless,
Lisa Williams
