PICTURES:

I am currently trying out the Picasa Photo Sharing Website – Here is the link— Cut and paste the “entire line” to get in— (it was in your email)

NOTE:  As with anything on the internet, these sites may contain content not appropriate for families.  Picasa vs. Flickr, doesn’t seem to allow you to other people’s photos as easily.  I have the security on the site turned way up as to not allow anything in appropriate, but I don’t know if that is passed on to the guest pass.  So, I think the Picasa site with the link just to our page is hopefully a better choice for now then the guest pass at Flickr.  Also please pass on “your” photos to me by email, to share with other families.  As you can see, I have lots of teens on the site, because that is what my children have taken pictures of, their friends.  You are welcome to right click on any photo and save it to your own computer’s “My Pictures”.  These Pictures are by invite only with this cut and paste link, this link is not visible to the general public.  Please be descrete with who you share this link with (other family and friends).

NEW Email Address:

leaphomeschool@gmail.com

We have a general email for the general public to contact us with on the website.

Please share this email and the website with anyone who is interested in LEAP, you are our best advertisement for new families.  Remind them that we would like to hear from them by June 1, registration day and interviews are June 12.  All new family paperwork is due by August 1.

Rehearsal Day

Today is Rehearsal Day for all plays and performances for this evenings Closing Program.  Please be sure to check the special schedule for todays classes, as they are not the same as a regular or alternate day schedule.  Be sure that you know what time your child needs to be at the performance this evening and what they may need to wear.

Closing Program/Graduation Ceremony

Tonight is the Closing Program/Graduation Ceremony at 6:30 p.m. at Milford Bible Church.  Please be sure to remember the refreshment that you signed up for, any displays from classes that you taught, what you child needs to wear or bring to perform in his/her play or performance.  Please also be on time as we will not be able to begin until all children are in place with their teachers.

Tomorrow’s Schedule

TOMORROW is REHEARSAL DAY—Attached is the Rehearsal Schedule for tomorrow morning.  Everyone is assigned to an age group for the morning.  You are responsible to stay with that group for the whole time, taking them through the assigned activities.

Therefore, you will need to bring board games appropriate to that age (or children may bring one they hope to play with friends), consider some structured gym options (including the beautiful outdoors), and see that their rehearsal starts and ends on time as the stage is on 30 minute rotations. (Lois is rounding up appropriate videos/DVDs for each age for you to show at that time, but if you have a good one in mind please bring that as well.)

We have tried to plan in such a way that those whose children are all age 4th grade and below can head home after 2nd period. All others will need to stay until their older children have completed their practice.

Also pray for the Port Jervis School Board meeting tonight at 7 p.m. The Board is entertaining the question of why they are not allowing homeschoolers’ participation in extra curricular activities/sports and clubs. This has been an issue for decades. Please pray for those who are going and for those who will speak. If you live in the Port district please plan to attend just to sit there. It is important that it be handled in a polite “What can we do to make this work out” type attitude, letting those leading us do the speaking, and the rest of us just provide numerous smiling faces!
