Calendar

Calendar now has a revised date of 1/28/09

Changes were of CHAP and LEAH convention dates in May and June.

More corrections

The following Regular & Alternate Day Schedules have been modified or corrected (who they affect in parenthesis)

Reg. Student (5th graders – renamed Science class, Emily W. – dropped Spanish)
Reg. Student Spring only (same as above)

Reg. Teacher (Deborah B -added a class, Linda K- renamed class, Anne Marie F.- added parenthesis)
Reg. Teacher Spring only (same as above)

Alternate Class Schedule (Eng. Comp class room #, PE 3rd period, Art History 4th period room #)

Alt. Student (Emily W – dropped Spanish)
Alt. Student Spring only (same as above)

Again, some schedules may not need to be reprinted, simply compare what you have and modify with ink, reprint once you have multiple changes.

Continual Revisions

Small tweaking of schedules and pages are constantly being done, sorry.  I suggest that before Friday, you make sure you have the most current schedule available.  It is not always necessary to print a new one, simply make any necessary corrections in ink.  All Regular Day Schedule (Student & Teacher) & Calendar of Events now have rv. dates of 1/20/09.

And Grade Class List is now review on 1/22/09.

ALSO, most important is that I have done a SPRING ONLY for the Reg. Class & Room Assignments.  I had to create a spring only one because I needed room to add room numbers.

Check out new Photos too!

Updated Schedules

Hi LEAP Families,

The Spring 2009 schedules are now posted.   Best way to get there is TABLE OF CONTENTS.  Also, PLEASE NOTE, I have posted schedules for Regular and Alternate day in two formats.  You have a “Fall & Spring Schedule” for Teachers and Students or you have a “Spring ONLY”.  This format is very helpful so that you only focus on this upcoming season without getting confused with a class that was fall only.

We at LEAP would like to welcome the Faillace family.  They are joining us for Regular Days only.  Please check your email for info that is  not posted online.

Your schedule may have changed slightly with the addition of a new family and the rearranging of a few classes.  Please compare very carefully your schedule and that of your child’s to your one from last year.  For head teachers, please be careful to note your students assigned to your class and create a new attendance sheet for the upcoming year.     Keep checking your email for info from Nancy on Lesson Plans and other responsibilities.

You will also need to reprint everything with a revised  ‘09 date!

LEAP Board

CPSIA

Dear LEAP Families:

On February 10th a new law goes into effect regarding safety for our children.  Here are a few articles about how this could affect homeschoolers.

Just a little bit of info letting you know what is going on in the world with other homeschoolers.  Didn’t even know that there was a new law taking effect February 10th.

Stork Visit

Hey, we are getting ready for another LEAP season to start.  Our first Alternate Day classes will begin on Friday, January 23.  For those of you who were planning on visiting us at the January Fair.  It is temporarily canceled.  We hope to reschedule it this spring.  It was scheduled for this Saturday, January 17.

I was just told that the stork is going to be paying 2 families a visit in 2009, guess who they are?  Na, Na, Na, you’ll have to wait.    Please keep visiting back to our website and check your email often between now and the start of class.  We have a new family, the Faillace Family and their 4 children to welcome and put on the schedules.   We also have some shuffling around of people.    We have a new menu of delicious lunches to post soon.  So, keep checking to see what is new. While your waiting, have you read our lastest pages about high school and saving $$$.

New Page – “Homeschooling Through High School”
