4-H Meetings

Calendar of Events 2009-10 has been updated with the “Saints” 4-H Business Meetings and Parties for the year.  If you have a LEAP student in 3rd grade and up, please join us on these days and come see what 4H is all about.

These meetings double as both 4H Meetings and LEAP Student Council meetings.

This is a chance for the students to have a voice in our little neck of the woods.  Students will learn parliamentary procedures such as making a motion, having a motion on the floor, voting, running for office, elections and so much more.  Students also choose annual community service projects and field trips.

So, “Saints”, come on out to our monthly meetings and get involved.

4-H Open House

Looking for a fun field trip this Saturday, September 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Our First Patriot Song

Dear LEAP Families,

Please be sure that your children know this song by tomorrow, or at least print out a copy so that they can sing along with us.

God Bless America Lyrics
by Irving Berlin

God bless America,
Land that I love,
Stand beside her and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above;

From the mountains, to the prairies,
To the oceans white with foam,
God bless America,
My home, sweet home.
God bless America,
My home, sweet home.

One More Day!!!

Hope you are ready for opening ceremonies and the part you will play.  Attached you will find the schedule for pledge leading and songs.  Sing all day tomorrow and we’ll all join in!  Memorize those pledges too!  Pack those packs.  See you around 8:45 so we are ready to go at 9 (Sciences see you by 8 am) Prayer room with our chaplin (Tyler) at 8:55 in the upstairs nursery.

3 Days Left…

Yup, 3 more days until our first day of Co-Op.

Reminders:

If your child is in one of the 2 early science classes, please be there in time for your child to be sitting and ready to start class by 8 a.m.

All other families should be there no later than 8:45 and ready to start pray and announcements promptly at 9 a.m.

Please  be sure to park on the back “side” of the church to leave room for the gym classes to play in the wide open places.

Please be sure that you have the most up-to-date schedules.  There have been a few last minute changes.  Check those “rv.” dates.

Need further help getting ready in the morning, see Launch Pad Checklist.

One Week New Year Begins

As of the end of August, we are not taking any new families for our homeschool Co-Op. If you would like to join, you may turn in your completed application and join the Spring Semester which begins after the Christmas Break.

We are still available by email for any questions you may have about homeschooling in the Tri-State area.

As of today, we are asking that no students switch classes. Teachers need to have this time to prepare for up coming classes and to know exactly who is on their roster.
