The Star Spangled Banner
by Francis Scott Key

Oh, say, can you see, by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hail’d at the twilight’s last gleaming?
Whose broad stripes and bright stars, thro’ the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watch’d, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof thro’ the night that our flag was still there.
O say, does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?

Burger Bash

October 8 from 5 to 8 p.m.
Come eat dinner at Burger King in Port Jervis, NY
Tell them “I support 4H” and we get a portion of cost to help our 4H club

Don’t let the tragedy of this incident go unnoticed.  Please share these stories with your children.  Please pray for the Dorritie and Fahey families.

As the Fire Safety Teacher here at LEAP, I can’t stress enough the importance of making sure your smoke detectors are working.  Practice fire escape routes with your children; know 2 exits from each room.  Have fire extinguishers handy and teach your kids how to use them.  My heart breaks for this mom.  Don’t be a statistic.
